Shambhala Level 1: The Art of Being Human

with Chris Pleim
January 11 / 7:30 PM - January 13 / 1:00 PM

Through the practice of meditation, we glimpse unconditional goodness as the ground of our existence. Opening to ourselves with gentleness and appreciation, we begin to see our potential as genuine and compassionate human beings.

"If we are willing to take an unbiased look, we will find that, in spite of all our problems and confusion, all our emotional and psychological ups and downs, there is something basically good about our existence as human beings. We have moments of basic non-aggression and freshness...it is worthwhile to take advantage of these moments...we have an actual connection to reality that can wake us up and make us feel basically, fundamentally good." Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche

Generisity Policy: Our generosity policy supports individuals who need to "pay-what-you-can" due to your current situation. Often we have the time but not the money or we have the money but not the time to attend programs though the desire and need is still there. Your attendance is more important than the money to us.  Please reflect on how much you can offer and give more, less, or the suggested amount based on your individual circumstances. The tuition amount reflects our costs to offer the program.

To take advantage of our generorosity policy, please register and note this in the comment field, you will be contacted. We do not accept pay-what-you-can at the door, so please pre-arrange. Thank you
