Shambhala Training Level III, Warrior in the World
with Ellen Rook
April 19 / 7:00 PM - April 21 / 6:00 PM
Having learned not to turn away from fear, we can extend that practice into everyday life situations without the barrier of the cocoon. This takes daring. Through daring and gentleness, we open to a clear perception of the world and its feedback. In doing so, our fixation on our own point of view relaxes, and we learn that we can work with whatever situation arises. In Shambhala Training Level III: Warrior in the World, we will develop confidence in all aspects of our daily life.
“Shambhala vision teaches us that, in the face of the world’s greatest problems, we can be heroic and kind at the same time. Shambhala vision is the opposite of selfishness. When we are afraid of ourselves and afraid of the seeming threat the world presents, then we become extremely selfish. We want to build our own little nests, our own cocoons, so that we can live by ourselves in a secure way. But we can be much more brave than that. – Chogyam Trungpa
