Rousing Enlightened Society

This is a special member's only class that will cover everything from "What you wanted to know about Shambhala but were afraid to ask"  to "Basic Goodness" to  "What is an Enlightened Society and How Do I Find One?".


The Rousing Enlightened Society class will occur over four Thursday, Nov. 29, Wednesday, Dec. 5, Thursdays, Dec. 13th and 20th.  Each class will have a talk, discussion and exercises.  The classes will begin at 7pm with 30 minutes of Shamatha practice as part of the regular sitting period on Thursday evenings.


The class topics are:
Week One:  Welcoming & Listening - Creating welcoming environment, confident communication, Shambhala forms and practices,
Week Two:  Curiosity & Confidence  - The View, Practice and Study for Open House
Week Three:  The World We Share  - Discussion of the Enlightened Society Treatise by Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche
Week Four:   Creating Enlightened Society -  Enlightened Society and Mindful Speech
