This course expands the meditation experience by introducing practical methods for developing ongoing kindness toward ourselves and others. By training in virtue and compassion, we cultivate a gentle and fearless heart. By learning discipline, we discover joy. Joy in Everyday Life includes meditation instruction, talks, periods of meditation practice, discussion, and a variety of contemplative practice activities.
Prerequisite: Contentment in Everyday Life course is required. Shambhala Training Level III is recommended but not required
