Fearlessness in Everyday Life
May 28 / 7:00 PM - June 25 / 9:00 PM
Soaring on the wings of hope and fear, we often crash and burn. What happens if we begin to see life as it is? Exploring Buddhist teachings on mind and the nature of reality, we learn to see more clearly. We also extend our exploration of teachings on fearlessness. In Shambhala, fearlessness is represented by the Garuda, a mythical bird which soars in space, beyond hope and fear.
Learning to work with our anxiety, we are not blocked by fear. We dare to face life and death as they are. Open to uncertainty, the meditator goes beyond the emotions of hope and fear to experience equanimity.
