Pittsburgh Shambhala Children's Morning
January 13 / 9:00 AM - January 13 / 11:30 AM
This is an ongoing program open to children ages 5 through 12. During our mornings together, we will explore ways to contact and recognize the basic goodness in ourselves and others. Through stories, crafts, activities, meditation and movement exercises, we will focus on compassion, gentleness, kindness, confidence and the wonders of our world.
The program will usually run on the third Sunday of the month from October through April from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. Parents are required to stay on premises.
During the Children’s Morning, parents are welcome to join the Nyinthun which is a day of meditation practice or participate in our Mindful Parenting Book Discussion Group.
Donations to cover costs of materials are gratefully accepted.
