 Ikebana Gathering
with Lee White
January 14 / 7:00 PM - January 14 / 9:00 PM
Second Monday each month, 7:00 – 9:00 PM (setup at 6:45 PM) | Open to all, free of charge
Ikebana is the traditional Japanese art of flower arranging. More than simply putting flowers in a container, it is a disciplined art form in which nature and humanity are brought together.
Our monthly ikebana gatherings combine talks, demonstrations, open discussion, hands-on learning and arranging, and whatever arises from participants’ collective inspiration—all in a relaxed setting, with tea provided.
Each month we focus on a different theme. The overall view of the gatherings is: “Ikebana for anyone, anywhere, anytime.” Please join us.
To learn how ikebana can touch the heart of anyone and bring peace, joy and a sense of celebration to our society, watch the video Born in a Broken Heart: Ikebana, a Smile Mixed with Tears.
