Monday evenings, 7:00 to 9:00 pm
This introductory class provides an opportunity to learn and deepen our experience and understanding of meditation. It is valuable for both newer and experienced students as it places special attention on practical suggestions for establishing a sitting practice in the midst of our very speedy society.
The series provides a strong foundation in mindfulness-awareness meditation and addresses the complexity of our daily lives in order to develop courage and sanity in these challenging and uncertain times.
The class will be led by Douglas Anderson, a senior teacher at the Shambhala Center.
