Shambhala Training Level I - The Art of Being Human

Teacher Visiting teacher Acharya Emily Bower has been a student of Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche since 1991. She served as his editor for various projects, including his first book, Turning the Mind into an Ally. She has been a professional editor since 1987 and has most recently worked full-time as an acquiring editor for Shambhala Publications in Boston. She travels and teaches extensively in the Shambhala mandala as well as continuing to work as a book editor and publishing consultant. She lives in Los Angeles.
Teacher's Gift It is traditional for students to offer a monetary gift to the teacher in appreciation for receiving the teachings and in recognition of the years of training and understanding the teacher has cultivated. There will be an opportunity to offer a teaching gift at the program.
