Mindfulness for Tweens and Teens

“Mindfulness for Tweens and Teens” provides kids age 11 to 16 with a fun, thoughtful introduction to Buddhist principles of mindfulness, awareness and compassion. Classes will include meditation instruction, group talks, and small group activities. This is a monthly offering, come for one or all of them!
Parents are welcome to participate in the Sunday meditation period, and can receive meditation instruction if interested or participate in the class with their children. If you are not interested in participating in any Sunday morning programming, you may relax in our community room, as parents are required to remain on site while their children attend the program.
A donation of $10 per child per class is requested, but not required. Please register for the class if you are able; particularly so we can plan age-appropriate activities. Walk-ins, however, are welcome as well.
