Shambhala Training Level I: The Art of Being Human
with Jesse Miller
January 11 / 7:00 PM - January 13 / 6:00 PM
Based on ancient teachings that were brought to the West by Tibetan Buddhist meditation master Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, Shambhala Training offers a way of living in the world with confidence, genuineness and creative expression based on the inherent wisdom that exists in every person. Shambhala training offers clear and precise methods for uplifting our personal experience and that of others. This weekend-long program includes meditation instruction with periods of sitting and walking practice, formal talks, group discussion and personal interviews.
In Shambhala Training Level I: The Art of Being Human we will learn the simple yet challenging practice of meditation. By relaxing our body and mind in this way we begin to discover something profound within our ordinary experience of ourselves and the world. We get a glimpse that the ground of our existence is unconditional goodness. Opening to ourselves with gentleness and appreciation, we begin to see our potential as genuine and compassionate human beings.
Student Price: $100
