Mindfulness for Children

“Mindfulness for Children” provides kids age 5 to 10 with a fun, loving introduction to Buddhist principles of mindfulness, awareness and compassion. Class content will differ each week, and includes a combination of meditation, tea time, crafts, dharma arts, story time, yoga and role play. This is a monthly offering, come for one or all of them!
Parents are welcome to participate in the Sunday meditation period, and can receive meditation instruction if interested or participate in the class with their children. If you are not interested in participating in any Sunday morning programming, you may relax in our community room, as parents are required to remain on site while their children attend the program.
A donation of $10 per child per class is requested, but not required. Please register for the class if you are able; particularly so we can plan age-appropriate activities for the kids. Walk-ins, however, are welcome as well.
