Way of Shambhala: Fearlessness in Everyday Life
with Greg Wolk & Randy Harris
October 29 / 6:30 PM - November 26 / 9:00 PM
Location: Seattle Shambhala Center, 3107 E Harrison St, Seattle
Fearlessness in Everyday Life is the fourth in the Way of Shambhala curriculum and is the complementary class to Shambhala Training Level IV. To attend one must have completed Joy In Everyday Life or Outrageous and Inscrutable.
Working with fear is at the heart of warriorship, and this class will explore in more depth the Mahayana teachings on emptiness. One will be taught how to relax into the openness beyond hope and fear. We learn to see things as they are rather than how we conceive them to be.
The Way of Shambhala I is our core practice and education program. It includes five Shambhala Training weekend programs (Levels I through V), and five companion 5-week classes (Meditation in Everyday Life through Wisdom in Everyday Life). You are encouraged to do both together, but it is possible to do just the weekends in order, or just the classes in order. To proceed beyond WoS I, all weekends and week night classes are required.
