Community in Action |
3:00pm
10:00pm

Part of the Congress will be devoted to "opening the flower
outward". This
call will be an opportunity to talk about the social dimension of
Shambhala
vision. We can also talk about the ways in which we reach out to
others,
for example, through the development of online community and learning.
If
you are interested in how we manifest concern for the environment
in our
community, or similar issues of creating enlightened society, please
join
this call.

Community Issues of Structure, Governance, Funding and
Services |
12:30pm
10:00pm

A community is a network of relationships--a mandala. That web
needs to be
sustained by good communication. It needs a functioning structure.
Resources need to be provided and shared. This is true for local
centres
and groups, as well as for the mandala as a whole. If you want the
Congress
to move forward on issues of structure, funding and services, this
call
will help us to prepare the agenda for that.
