Conflict Resolution

Contact: Eric Watson ericw@netidea.comThis group presented a brief role play to show how the workshop helped people to understand their blockages when listening to/communicating with others. Points made included: there are lots of situations of non-communication in centres. The view to work with this is understanding that we are all different, and that we could value different perceptions. Conflict was defined as any divergence between 2 entities in relationship. Conflict is also an opportunity for intimacy (the dance of tangible/intangible: tangible is what is said and intangible is the feelings behind what is said. Shared pain is the basis for communication.) |
