Diversity and Accessibility Working Group
Minutes of Meeting #4 - Sunday, July 4, 2004, 7:30 pm
Present: Cortez Rainey, Chair; Sarah LittleFeather, Recorder; Dan Hessey; Lodro Rinzler.
Cortez said that several members of the working group are not able to attend the meeting because they are in retreat, have illness in their family or job responsibilities that conflict with the meeting date/time. All of them have indicated they plan to continue meeting with us. Aba McHardy will be joining the Working Group after our July 18th meeting with the Review Group.
In preparing for the meeting with the Review Group, the Working Group decided that:
- Personal testimonies on diversity and accessibility that we have received via email should be sent to Dan so he can attach them to the treatise, “Notes on Diversity and Accessibility.”
- The treatise and surveys (Center Director, Mandala Governing Council and Practitioner) will be revised by the end of the week.
- The treatise and surveys will be sent to the Review Group prior to our meeting with them.
- The purpose of our meeting with the Review Group is to obtain feedback on the treatise and the surveys.
The meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
