Halifax, Dorje Denma Ling Directors Appointed

The Sakyong, Jamgon Mipham Rinpoche, the President, and the Kalapa Court have appointed Ms Rhiannon Wells to the position of Director of the Halifax Shambhala Centre and Mr Lennart Krogoll to the position of Executive Director of Dorje Denma Ling.
In his letter of appointment President Reoch writes of the new directors:
"Ms Wells brings with her to this position a vibrant mix of experience and creativity that will contribute a great deal to the development of the Halifax Shambhala Centre at this time of transition and expansion in our mandala. Her artistic flair and her years of service (previously at the Halifax Shambhala Centre and more recently at Karme Choling0, together with her deep wish to serve the Sakyong's vision for the future of Shambhala, will be a tremendous asset to our community as we radiate out even further in Halifax, Atlantic Canada and beyond."
"Mr Krogoll has served our mandala with sustained devotion and tremendous exertion for many years and is widely known and respected. His natural leadership qualities, warm heart and his experience in the Dorje Kasung, together with his aspiration to contribute to the Sakyong's vision for the future of Shambhala, will prove extremely helpful and inspiring for this next phase of the life of Dorje Denma Ling."
Together with the Halifax and Dorje Denma Ling Shambhala Communities we express tremendous appreciation to Ms Yeshe Fuchs and Ms Patricia Ullman Hayward for their years of devoted service.
In his letter of appointment the President expressed this appreciation, on behalf of the Sakyong, himself and the Shambhala community, "for the years in which the outgoing director, Ms. Yeshe Fuchs, has offered such heartfelt, warm and strong service to the Halifax Shambhala Centre, steering it through challenging times and bringing it to the new level of health and stability we enjoy today."
He wrote of "the untiring and heartfelt years of service that the outgoing director, Ms Patricia Ullman Hayward, has devoted to Dorje Denma Ling. She has helped shape it into the expanded international practice centre that is today, with a well-designed development planf for the future, carefully thought through from the point of high-quality environmental standards."
We also would like to express our appreciation to the Governing Councils of the Halifax Centre and Dorje Denma Ling for the extremely careful way in which they worked on the process of selecting these candidates for appointment.
