Discovering basic goodness in the world and ourselves.
The practice of mindfulness-awareness meditation enables us to discover the immediate, unconditioned quality of our lives — a view beyond our fixed, habitual mind. In the Shambhala tradition, warriors are those who are brave enough to look directly at themselves, with fearlessness, gentleness, and compassion. Through this wakeful openness, we can cultivate our basic goodness and live our lives more fully and genuinely. The weekend program includes instruction in sitting and walking meditation, group discussion, personal interviews, and talks by the director.
