The Shambhala Center of Washington, DC (formerly known as "Vajradhatu") is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization dedicated to creating enlightened society. We are supported by membership dues and voluntary monetary donations for the services we provide to the community. There are many ways to support the Center financially.

Help the DC Center with Technology Upgrades
To better serve our members and friends, the DC Center is planning to purchase upgraded computer hardware and software — as well as implement a new, more robust website that will help us streamline our program administration and connect us more fully with the global Shambhala Sangha. Our fundraising goals are:

• $1,200 for hardware and software upgrades
• $1,500 for web development

The Lucinda Joy Peach Scholarship Fund
The Lucinda Joy Peach Scholarship Fund was established to help enable active, committed members of the Shambhala Meditation Center of Washington, DC with financial constraints to attend programs at Shambhala land centers through direct partial payment of program fees.

The Fund was established by the Council of the Shambhala Meditation Center of Washington DC with a bequest to the Center from the estate of member Lucinda Peach. The fund is to be supported thereafter by the community, through designated fundraising and through spontaneous acts of generosity. Donations to the Fund are maintained as a restricted account, to be used only for scholarships.
