It is said that the great Tibetan yogi, Milarepa, one of the founders of the Kagyü lineage, composed 100,000 songs expressing his great realization. If you like to sing, all voices are welcome to learn and sing these songs of realization as transmitted by Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche. We learn 3-4 songs each week—singing and contemplating their meaning to benefit others. The chorus is led by Susan Page, a long time student of Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche.
This group meets periodically at sangha members' homes or in cafes
to engage in spontaneous writing. If you have a creative drive that
expresses itself in writing, feel free to join us!
QueerDharma is a meditation group for queer (gays, lesbians, transgender)
people, whether they are part of the Shambhala community or not. Anyone
looking for an opportunity to practice meditation with us is welcome.
The group meets occasionally for sitting meditation, a talk or discusion, and socializing.
