Throughout history, men and women have aspired to create societies that enable them to express the dignity of human existence and to lead meaningful lives within a flourishing culture. This is the vision of Shambhala. The Eugene Shambhala Group welcomes everyone interested in the practice and study of meditation as a means of expanding gentleness and non-aggression into all areas of life. We are a small and enthusiastic group of people who meet to familiarize ourselves with the mind through meditation, study and contemplation. Information about  the worldwide community, programs, and other Shambhala Meditation Centers is available at www.shambhala.org.
