Introductory Books On Mindfulness Meditation
The following brief list of books is available at
most large bookstores that have a section on Buddhism and/or Eastern
Religion, or you can probably obtain them through various online booksellers. The selections
below are suggested as merely a starting place for learning more about
meditation from a Tibetan Buddhist or "Shambhalian" perspective. The books by
Walpola Rahula and Karen Armstrong are recommended for getting an initial
overview of basic Buddhist teachings and their historical context.

valuable.
