The word "warrior" as used in the Shambhala and Bodhisattva traditions, or pawo in Tibetan, means "one who is courageous." Courage is inherent in human beings, so it does not need to be cranked up but awakened. As the Vidyadhara Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche said:

"The term warrior relates to the basic situation of being a human being. The heart of the warrior is this basic aliveness or basic goodness. It is not being afraid of who you are."

In the container of our practice program, we will explore how to awaken courage and be a warrior bodhisattva in our world today. Join us for a week or both weeks!
