The inspiration of Gold Ocean! is to illuminate all aspects of economic life, including financial planning, career issues, and current events from a practical yet "spiritual" point of view. "Spiritual meaning for example that money should be respected as a critical part of economic living just like water is a critical part of one's diet, but not the only part and certainly not the most interesting. After all, the formula for money, like water, is H2O, which stands for Heart, Humility +Opportunity or something like that. Another tenant of this view is that wealth is inherent to all beings and that to pursue money in small-minded ways is akin to drinking tainted water.
