The Vajra Regent, then named Narayana, with Swami Satchidananda,
a teacher in the Hindu tradition. The Regent studied with Swami Satchidananda,
and was one of his principle students, from 1966 until 1971, when he met
Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche. With the blessings of Satchidananda, he moved
to Karme Choling (then named "Tail of the Tiger") and began to study Buddhism.
